Parents and players, a great first day of the season! I hope everyone had a fun day at the fields. SMSC would like to remind everyone on a few things as we get this season started. 

1) Parents, during games, always sit on the opposite side of the field of your team. Only the coaches and the assistants are permitted on the team side. 
2) Please make sure your player arrives on time per the coach's instructions. 
3) Always arrive at the field dressed and ready to play. Every player needs to bring the appropriate gear based on the weather and always wear their jersey on the outside, shin guards and cleats. All shin guards must be worn under socks. 
4) Please make sure all the players gear, including their game drink, is placed at the team bench before kickoff so there is need for the player to find you during the game.
5) The only age groups where coaches are allowed on the field are U5 and U6. All other age groups, the coaches must stay on their half of the field and not leave the sideline, walk around the goal area or cross midfield during a game.
